Guarantee Policy

A valid credit card is required at the time of booking and either a deposit of one night’s accommodation or full pre-payment will be taken, depending on the rate chosen.

Rates and Promotions

Subject to availability. Blackout dates may apply. Promotions cannot be combined and promotional rates are displayed with all discounts applied. Promotions apply to new bookings only.

Booking Changes

Rates are subject to change & we reserve the right to change your accommodation should we need to.  Except where special arrangements have been made with us. Specific room names or numbers are not provided to you prior to your arrival.

Check in and Check out

You may check-in at any time from 3:00pm on the scheduled day of arrival. On the day of departure we kindly ask you to vacate your rooms by 11.00am.
Late check-out after this time can be requested, subject to availability, and may be charged at an hourly rate at our discretion.  We would be more than happy to look after your luggage if you wish to extend your day of arrival or departure.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations made more than 14 days before arrival are fully refundable. For cancellations within 14 days, the deposit is non-refundable. Each rate has individual terms and conditions which are laid out below.

No shows

All rooms that have been secured by credit/debit card or prepaid at the time of booking will be held until 11.59pm on the scheduled date of arrival unless otherwise agreed directly with the hotel. The hotel may change these standard terms and conditions in relation to certain promotions and times of the year. No Shows will be charged the balance of the reservation..

Dogs

We are a dog friendly hotel and dogs are welcome in both the hotel and the restaurant. Dogs must be supervised and kept under control at all times and a charge CHF 25 per dog, per night will be applied. Any damage or disruption to other guests will be charged.

Families

We welcome children of all ages. Baby cots are available upon request. Please note that guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult to check in.

Parking

Yes although this is off site in the town’s public car park. Guests should check in first to collect a parking pass before parking – a parking pass is included in the room rate.

Smoking

The hotel is non-smoking indoors – failing to adhere to this may incur a charge of CHF 250. Smoking is permitted at designated tables on the patio.

Damages

In the event of any damage or loss to the contents of your room, including stains to any of the soft furnishings, carpets and rugs we reserve the right to charge the credit or debit card used to book your reservation with either the full cost of repairing/cleaning such item(s) or if this is not possible the cost for the replacement item.

Groups

The hotel considers a group any booking of more than 4 rooms or more booked during the same dates and for the same purpose. Therefore, any booking for 4 rooms or more will be subject to group policy conditions of deposit and cancellation policies. The hotel reserves the right to wave the group policy on certain occasions, at the discretion of the General Manager, otherwise the reservations would constitute a group of 4 rooms or more when travelling together; and will request the parties to book under the conditions of a group. Conditions: Payment must be made by one individual payer, following a schedule of deposits and the accommodation will be submitted to a special date for cancellation.

Restaurant cancellation policy

Reservations are guaranteed by credit card. Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance are fully refundable. Within 24 hours, a charge of CHF 50 per guest applies.

Best Available Flexible Rate

• • • A valid payment card must be provided at the time of reservation.
    • A deposit equal to the first night will be taken at the time of booking.
    • Cancellations can be made without charge to your reservation up to 14 days prior to your arrival, after which point the deposit of the first night will be non-refundable.
    • Cancellations within 48 hours will be charged the balance of the reservation.
    • No shows will be charged the balance of the reservation.

Early Bird Rate

• • • A valid payment card must be provided at the time of reservation.
    • A deposit equal to the first night will be taken at the time of booking and is non-refundable.
    • The remaining balance is required 3 months prior to arrival and is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Christmas

• • • A valid payment card must be provided at the time of reservation.
    • A deposit of one night’s stay will be charged to the provided card upon booking; this is refundable up to 3 months prior to arrival.
    • The remaining balance will be taken 3 months prior to the date of arrival and is non-refundable and non-transferable.
    • No shows are non-refundable and non-transferable.

New Year’s Eve

• • • A valid payment card must be provided at the time of reservation.
    • A deposit of one night’s stay will be charged to the provided card upon booking; this is refundable up to 3 months prior to arrival.
    • The remaining balance will be taken 3 months prior to the date of arrival and is non-refundable and non-transferable.
    • No shows are non-refundable and non-transferable.
