Each of the 13 bedrooms, uniquely designed by Luis Laplace, are furnished with traditional Engadin furniture and artwork by local artists and artisans that reflect the history of the hotel and the surrounding area.

Restaurant

Our restaurant, takes its inspiration from Maria and Christina Godly’s famous and traditional use of seasonal ingredients.

It is open daily for dinner and offers a menu that celebrates the marriage of Italian and Swiss cultures. A light lunch is available upstairs in the bar.

Our Garden

Nestled behind the hotel with a view of the mountains on one side and Nietzsche’s Haus on the other, you’ll find the garden. Discover our tranquil haven of dappled light and the sound of the river running alongside.

Open every day, join us for a quick pitstop coffee on your way through Sils, a long leisurely lunch after exploring the Val Fex or an aperitif before dinner. Lunch is available from 12pm – 3.30pm.

Turning to Winter

Each season offers a distinct experience of the alpine paradise in which we find ourselves. The crunch of snow under your shoes, crackling fires await as you come in from the cold and the light is an extraordinary as ever. From Corvatsch to St Moritz, ski slopes are close enough to reach with ease but far enough to retreat to total tranquility at the end of the day.

The beauty and culture of the Engadin ensures it is not for skiers alone: myriad local events, winter experiences, galleries and museums await – as does the chance to do nothing but soak up the peace and quiet of the mountains.

Getting Here

Located in the Upper Engadin Valley, Sils Maria is 20-minutes drive from St. Moritz where you will find the nearest train station and car rental. Bus services run from Sils Maria to St. Moritz and taxis can also be arranged upon request.

The nearest international airports are in Zurich and Milan, both of which are within a three-hour drive and St. Moritz has a private airport at Samedan.
