Opening Times

Are you open all year round?

We will operate during two main seasons: December to March, and June to October.

 What are the restaurant’s opening hours?

The restaurant will be open for dinner daily from 6:30pm to 9:30pm.

 

Hotel Information

 Are you family friendly?

Yes, we welcome children of all ages. Baby cots are available upon request. Please note that guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult to check in.

Are dogs welcome?

Yes, dogs are welcome in both the hotel and the restaurant.

Is there Wi-Fi?

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel and restaurant.

What is your smoking policy?

The hotel is non-smoking indoors. However, smoking is permitted at designated tables on the patio.

 What art will be on view?

We are now in the last stages of preparing the hotel and will have a confirmed list of artworks on opening soon. Artists who have been either lived in or been inspired by Sils Maria and the Engadin will feature prominently.

 

Booking and Payment

 How can I book?

Bookings will open shortly.

 What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Amex, Visa, Visa debit, Mastercard, Diners

Can I hire the whole hotel?

Yes, the hotel is available for exclusive hire. Please contact us for further details.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, we require the first night’s deposit upon booking. The remaining balance is due 48 hours before arrival.

What is your cancellation policy for the hotel?

Cancellations made more than 14 days before arrival are fully refundable. For cancellations within 14 days, the deposit is non-refundable. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions page for full details as some dates including Christmas and New Year require full non-refundable payment upfront.

What is your cancellation policy for the restaurant?

Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance are fully refundable. Within 24 hours, a charge of CHF 50 per guest applies.

What time is check in and check out?

Check-in is available from 3:00pm. Check-out is by 11:00am

 

Facilities and Rooms

What room types do you offer?

We have 13 bedrooms in total: 1 suite, 2 deluxe rooms, 3 superior rooms and 7 standard rooms.

What is the maximum occupancy per room?

The suite can accommodate up to 4 guests. All other rooms accommodate 2 guests. For families, Rooms 3 and 7 (one deluxe, one standard) and Rooms 10 and 11 (two superior) are interconnected.

What meals are included?

Breakfast is included with all stay.

 

Parking and Accessibility

Do you offer parking?

Yes although this is off site in the town’s public car park. Guests should check in first to collect a parking pass before parking.

Are your rooms and restaurant accessible?

One ground-floor room is fully accessible, and a lift serves all other floors except the suite. The restaurant and bar are also fully accessible.

Is public transport nearby?

The nearest train station is St. Moritz, 10 km (20 minutes) away. Bus services run from Sils Maria to St. Moritz. Rental cars are available in St. Moritz, and both Zurich and Milan are within a three-hour drive. Taxis from St. Moritz can be arranged upon request.
The nearest international airports are Milan and Zurich. Samedan private airport is also a 20-minute drive from the hotel.

 

Restaurant Information

Do you have a restaurant?

Yes. Our 46 cover on-site restaurant is open to both hotel guests and the public.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Yes, walk-ins are welcome, though we encourage reservations to avoid disappointment.

Do you offer private dining?

Yes. We will have a private dining room and a private bar, both of which seat up to 6 guests. These can be hired separately or together.

Is there outdoor seating?

Yes, a small outdoor seating area is available, with orders placed via the bar.

 

Dietary Requirements

Do you cater for allergies and dietary requirements?

Yes, we are happy to accommodate most allergies and dietary needs. Please let us know in advance so our chefs can prepare accordingly.

Do you offer vegetarian or vegan options?

Yes, vegetarian and vegan dishes are always available.

Are gluten-free options available?

Yes, we will have gluten-free options.

Where do you source your ingredients?

We prioritise seasonal, locally sourced produce from trusted regional suppliers and small family producers.
