The hotel and restaurant are currently closed; we will reopen for the summer season from 11th June until 1st November.
Chesa Marchetta has two intimate tasting experience rooms for up to 6 guests. Indulge in our take on the Godly sisters’ legendary fondue Chinoise, or be taken on an alpine journey with our cocktail experience. Our sommelier uses their exceptional knowledge to bring our wine collection to life in both spaces, with pairings, tastings and talks.
These experiences are open to hotel guests and non-guests alike and the rooms can be hired separately or together.
In ‘DRINK THE MOUNTAIN’ our first basement vault, mixologists combine rare Alpine spirits, herbal tinctures and their own fruit preserves and distillates into delicious bespoke cocktails you won’t find anywhere else in the world.
Our sommelier can guide you through a selection of rare regional wines and fine whiskies curated by experts at our Scottish sister hotel, The Fife Arms.

In ‘EAT THE MOUNTAIN’, our second basement vault, our chef curates an ever expanding library of Alpine and Swiss and Italian cheeses, charcuterie, pickles and preserves.
In homage to the Godly sisters, who ran Chesa Marchetta from 1947, we serve Fondue Chinoise, the Alpine interpretation of Chinese hotpot. A shared pot of bubbling, seasoned broth, served with thin slices of meat and vegetables for dipping.
